Harvard Family Research Project launched the Family Involvement Network of Educators (FINE) in November 2000 to serve as a hub of resources for family engagement in children's education, and to enable colleagues in the family involvement field to connect and communicate. FINE's membership is a national network of over 2,000 people who are interested in promoting strong partnerships between children's educators, their families, and their communities. FINE's membership is comprised of faculty in higher education, school professionals, directors and trainers of community-based and national organizations, parent leaders, and graduate students. The Harvard Family Research Project sends out a monthly email to FINE members that provides links to the latest family involvement research, toolkits, and training resources. FINE membership is open to anyone and is free of charge. To join, sign up at www.gse.harvard.edu/projects/fine/joinfine.html. or visit the FINE website to learn more about FINE and its online resources and publications at: www.finenetwork.org |
