This is another type of involvement added for Ontario to recognize the unique contribution that this makes to education. It also tends to be somewhat confusing. What are the best fundraisers? How should we fundraise? How should we handle money? This section will expand to cover some of these issues. Check back soon. The key to successful fundraising is to have a clearly defined purpose for the funds raised. And hopefully, the purpose is linked to the school plan for continuous improvement, or a specific goal intended to improve student learning. After all, that's what school councils are all about.
